Launched in July 2013 by the former Télérama and Sofilm correspondent in New York, FrenchFlicks (TheFrenchFlicks.com) is dedicated to all things French cinema in America. Whether you want to know which one of your local theater is showing French movies, which French film festivals are happening around you or where can you stream the latest Audrey Tautou or Isabelle Huppert film on TV5MONDE or Netflix.
Why FrenchFlicks
Our goal is to promote French cinema in the U.S. to American francophiles, fans of foreign cinema, and to all native French speakers living in America.
And because we know how difficult it can be to stream French movies with English subtitles – legally of course – we’ll look at every streaming platform’s to let you know the best French films on Netflix, TV5MONDE Amazon, Hulu, The Criterion Channel and the like.
