What is The Marching Band about?
The story follows Thibaut (played by Benjamin Lavernhe), a internationally renowned orchestra conductor who receives a life-changing diagnosis. While searching for a matching bone marrow donor, he discovers a startling secret: he was adopted, and he has a younger brother named Jimmy (Pierre Lottin).
When Thibaut tracks Jimmy down, he finds a blue-collar worker who spends his days working in a school cafeteria and his evenings playing trombone in his local working-class marching band. Despite their vastly different backgrounds, social statuses, and musical worlds, the estranged brothers quickly forge a deep connection through their shared passion for rhythm and melody.
